Ground Labs Takes Two Top Honors in the 2022 Global InfoSec Awards

We’re proud to announce that Ground Labs has been recognized with two Global InfoSec Awards from Cyber Defense Magazine, at RSA Conference, San Francisco this week.

Ground Labs was honored as a leader in the “Next-Gen Cyber Discovery” category, acknowledging the power and impact of the company’s Enterprise Recon solution powered by GLASS discovery technology, which helps organizations all over the world discover, classify and remediate hundreds of sensitive data types from over 50 countries. Our ability to help customers understand, and manage, sensitive data has never been more critical against a backdrop of evolving global security and privacy compliance regulations, an increasingly sophisticated cyber threat landscape and an era of hybrid work.

Additionally, our co-founder and chief evangelist Stephen Cavey was recognized as the “Publisher’s Choice – Privacy Expert of the Year” by Cyber Defense Magazine. Stephen and his team have led the company through its inception, a global pandemic, and massive growth periods, always having a hand in Ground Lab’s product strategy, sales, marketing and business operations. He has been instrumental in extending Ground Labs’ presence with enterprise customers around the world. 

Beyond Ground Labs, Stephen also advocates for educating organizations on data privacy issues by frequently speaking at global industry events, such as the eCrime, Payment Card Industry, and Data Protection World Forums, on topics related to data security and privacy, risk mitigation and cybersecurity trends.
